The Limited Editions of Casa Américo offer the best testimony of an extraordinary, ancestral and unique terroir that is the Mountain of Serra da Estrela. Wines with a strong character, with great longevity, which express elegance, minerality and freshness.
This edition reveals a red wine that evokes the centuries-old traditions of our region. It is precisely a century-old vineyard that gives rise to it, with a great diversity of autochthonous varieties, predominantly red. While still in the vineyard, the aim was to find the balance of maturation in order to make a single manual harvest, as in other times. Respect for traditions was maintained throughout the winemaking process, resulting in a wine full of elegance.

Luís Lopes taste notes: From the Cerca vineyard, red and white grapes (12%) fermented in the mill. Cement stage. It reveals fruit of enormous elegance, many spices, earthy and mossy notes, wet stone, even a citrus touch, all with remarkable complexity. Fine, with immense class, a fine example of Dão “in the old fashioned way”.
