Casa Américo, Limited Editions, 17 Graus
The Limited Editions of Casa Américo offer the best testimony of an extraordinary, ancestral and unique terroir that is the Serra da Estrela, in the Dão Wine region, Portugal. Wines with a strong character, of great longevity, which express elegance, minerality and freshness.
This edition reveals a wine produced from grapes of the Alfrocheiro grape variety in good health that were not harvested at the optimum point of maturation. However, as the days went by, the maturations controls show high sugar content, but total and fixed acidity also high. The conditions were naturally found for us to try to make a different wine: high alcohol content, while preserving the natural acidity and freshness
