Quinta da Garrida is an important property of Casa Américo Wines as it is a reference in the wine heritage of the sub-region of Serra da Estrela.

It is located in Vila Nova de Tazem and has around 18 ha of vineyards, some of which are old vines over 50 years old, where several ancient grape varieties are present.

With the Serra da Estrela as an ever-present background, the vineyard spreads out gently on a gentle slope. With an excellent sun exposure, it has the ideal conditions for high quality productions in the main red grape varieties typical of the region, Touriga Nacional and Tinta Roriz.
