Casa Américo, Red, 2019
Casa Américo Red 2019 is a wine from the Dão Region, sub-region of Serra da Estrela. Casa Américo Tinto is produced with a selection of the best red grapes of the Jaen, Touriga Nacional and Tinta-Roriz varieties from various plots, aged between 15 and 40 years. These plots are located in the Vila Nova de Tazem, Portugal area with an altitude between 400 and 600m in granitic soils.
Winemaker Pedro Pereira’s tasting notes, Casa Américo Tinto 2019 has an intense ruby color. Aroma with hints of spiced red fruits and light toast. In the mouth it is balanced, with round tannins and an elegant finish.
